When the weather is hot, I like to eat Muesli instead of cooked oatmeal. Homemade Muesli is very simple to make. You really don't need a recipe. You can use pretty much whatever dry fruit and nuts you like or have on hand to raw oatmeal. Dried dates and chopped pecans are a delicious combo. Add Chia, flax and hemp seeds for a nutritional boost. Make a big batch and store it in a jar. I just make a single serving so that I can change it up everyday if I want. What going in your muesli? Just got these vitamins from Amazon yesterday. YAY! I'm looking forward to trying the Raw One Multi for Women. I'm taking a break from <a href="http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=270863&catid=297806&aid=338666&aparam=goobase_filler&device=c&network=g&matchtype=" target="_blank">New Chaper Womens Multi</a>, which I do like. I also have never tried this brand of fish oil but I wanted to try something new. The last thing I got was Vitamin D3 gummies. I have to hide them from myself because they are so yummy and I can only eat one if I also take a multi. I'm curious to know what vitamins and other natural supplements you like and why?<br />

Smooth out any wrinkles.<br />Combine chocolate, cocoa powder, condensed milk, almonds, vanilla, and coarse sea salt in a large heavy saucepan. Cook, stirring occasionally, over medium-low heat unit chocolate melts and mixture is smooth. Transfer fudge to prepared baking pan; spread evenly. Let cool. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until firm, at least 2 hours or overnight. Uncover fudge; remove from pan by lifting overhanging plastic wrap. Invert on cutting board remove wrap. Cut into 8 strips; then cut each strip into 8 pieces. If making ahead, cover and chill up to 2 weeks. To serve, return fudge to room temperature. Sprinkle with flake sea salt. </span></span></div>

Pretty Neat! Talk about win win situations. The clay studio in Philadelphia got a grant to pay ceramic artists to make handmade mugs to then giveaway. The project goal is to raise the public's appreciation for the ceramic arts. The clay studio is hoping to educate the public on how different and special it feels to use a handmade mug verse a factory made one. This is Isabella's birthday cake. She is 8 year old and really wanted to learn how to use the potters wheel. I had the pleasure of teaching her and 9 of her energetic friends just that. We all had fun and got our hands filled with clay. What I loved the most about that day was this pottery wheel shaped cake. That was awesome!! I have to admit I didn't know what it was at first but when I realized it was a pottery wheel. I thought to myself how sweet is that! Her parent gave her the most thoughtful gift that I know she will remember. </div>

Place the walnuts into food processor and grind to a coarse meal.</div>

Add raisins and dates process until well combined.</div>

Add cacao powder, vanilla and sea salt process until mixture is sticky yet crumbly</div>

Add the water and mix well, using your hands. It should start to look like dough.</div>

Spread dough evenly into a parchment paper lined square (8 x 8 inch) baking pan.</div>

I find since these brownies are so rich and sweet I was only able to eat very small pieces at a time. I didn't have the urge to eat the whole pan in one sit in like I normally do with regular brownies. These brownies are very good and worth making.</div>

This dish was inspired by a Beef Bourguignon recipe I saw prepared on a show cooking show called <a href="http://livewellnetwork.com/Lets-Dish/recipes/Beef-Bourguignon/8514049" target="_blank">Let's Dish</a> on the Live Well network. I decided then it would be cool to make a chicken version of this, not knowing that it all ready existed. Chicken is usually paired with white wine not red but I still felt that flavors would work so I gave it a try, and boy was it good? Try it for yourself make your own version and let me know what you think! I love the favor the red wine contributes to this dish. I would make this also using only vegetables and serve it over rice or mashed potatoes! </div>

1. In a bowl add cubed chicken season with salt, pepper and add about a tablespoon of kitchen bouquet, mixed together. In a small stock pot add oil and brown chicken over moderate heat. Brown in small batches so that the chicken sears properly. Make sure that the chicken only evenly covers the bottom on the stock pot per batch. Reserve the browned chicken.2. In the same pot, brown onion, carrot, and mushrooms.<br />

3. Add garlic to the vegetables and continue sautéing for another 3 minutes.<br />
4. Add browned chicken back into the saucepot and sprinkle with flour. Cook over moderate heat for another 3-4 minutes stirring constantly.<br />

5. Add red wine, chicken broth, tomato sauce and tsp sugar. (The liquid should be just covering the chicken.) Bring mixture to a simmer. Cover. Continue cooking over low heat till sauce thickens and the chicken is fully cooked!<br />
6. Add miso to taste as it will add both salt and flavor to the finished chicken bourguignon. To add it, remove some of the liquid and whisk in a tablespoon or two of miso. Once the miso is dissolved, add it to the rest of the Chicken Bourguignon.<br />
7. Note: If the sauce is too thick, add additional water or stock. If it is too thin, add a small amount of corn starch mixed with cold water, and bring to a boil.<br />
8. Garnish with steamed pearl onions and parsley.<br />
9. Serve with roasted potatoes, rice or noodles in of course a handmade ceramic dish!<br />

I love boiled peanuts! I have great memories of eating them out of a brown paper bag with my dad. My dad would make them anytime he could get his hands on fresh green peanuts. It easier to find fresh peanuts in the south up not so much where I live in the north, so I'm using raw peanuts which will take a bit longer to cook. ( But it's worth it)</div>

I took this shot of the peanuts before boiling them and styled them in one of my matt blue glazed bowls. I love the contrast in color. The peanut after they are boiled are not that pretty. They get a real dark and muddy color that to me would not look appetizing. </div>

I seem to be eating a lot of stir fry and asian inspired dishes lately. Probably because I don't have that much time to cook and stir fries are fast. I'm back on my green smoothie kick. I'm a firm believer of the health benefits of drinking fresh fruit and vegetable drinks. I love making mugs. I can't say that mugs are my favorite item to make because my feeling change often, but I never not like making mugs. I use a variety of handmade mugs everyday, some of my own and from other potter friends. I spent some time making the stamps for this mug. I created about four stamps with this same design. I like making items that have some sort of texture on them or raised design. My handmade stamps are also made of clay. The design is from a traditional African textile design.</div>

I added all the classic meatloaf ingredients like finely chopped carrots, onions, shallots, tomato paste and garlic.
