Shiitake Mushrooms


I thought I would never say this, but I love mushrooms.  I  have been adding Shiitake Mushrooms to most of my meals.  I like the texture and taste which is not over powering.  
Shiitake Mushrooms are an excellent source of selenium.  They are a very good source of iron, protein, dietary fiber and vitamin c. 


Do you like Mushrooms?  and if so which ones?

  1. Yep, they are very good. King Trumpet mushroooms are great too. We made a pizza with those guys.

  2. I used to hate mushrooms, now I can't get enough! I don't have a favorite, we'll eat whatever organic happens to be at the store this week. My favorite lately is sauteed mushrooms and red onions with some basil and parsley over a fresh garden salad... delish! :)
