Art Workshops For Youth!

I had a wonderful time volunteering with Haiti Cultural Exchange, in collaboration with Brooklyn for Barack. These organizations partnered to offer a series of free art workshops to Hatian youth. The brooklyn art workshop was offered to help youth cope with feelings brought about by the earthquake. Children had several classes to choose from and there was a huge number of children in attendance at this saturday program . The children where eager to do projects and get involved. Overall I saw the need for more art events and workshops like this for parents and children. I was glad to be apart of this one. This program was a great success!
