Poet, novelist, educator, historian, producer, actress, filmmaker, civil rights activist and now cookbook author Maya Angelou is truly a phenomenal women.
I got a chance to meet Dr. Maya Angelou at her Union Square Barnes and Nobles book signing in New York. I was honored to have her shake my hand and autograph my copy of her new cookbook.
Dr. Maya Angelou has such a wonderful presence, she really spent time talking to everybody. I wish I could have took a photo with her but that wasn't allowed. I know will enjoy her new cookbook which is a mix of savory multicultural recipes which includes Chicken Tetrazzini, Swedish Hash and Warm Garden Salad to name a few. I'm happy to add this cookbook to my collection.
