Goat Cheese and Shiitake Mushroom Pizza



Instead of baking sourdough bread today I made a pizza instead.  (What a good way to spend this rainy Saturday. ) 


I had some tomatoes that were on the verge of getting soft so I  slice them up and threw them in.   I bought small package of goat cheese and mozzarella.   I also had lots of fresh basil which was perfect.  I didn't forget to add some thinly sliced shiitake mushrooms.


I couldn't leave out this artful detailed shot.

  1. This is my kind of pizza. My go-to pizza style is garlic, spinach, & mushroom so I know I would love this one. I've never made a real pizza at home before. Sounds like something I need to try. And your photos, as always, are very delectable. :-)

  3. Lol ~ I just pulled 5 loaves of sourdough bread out of the oven! That pizza looks absolutey delicious, but being vegan, I can't partake. ;) Funny, I can smell it as I sit here typing though... :)
